About Rep. Marsi


State Representative, 6th Worcester District
A Charlton resident and former Dudley resident of 25 years, John Marsi has two kids who attended Dudley-Charlton schools and is a parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua Church. A degreed Chemical Engineer, John brings over 25 years of business management, budgeting, and leadership experience to Beacon Hill.
John served 12 years (4 terms) on the Dudley Board of Selectmen, including 3 years as Chairman and 7 years as Vice Chairman. He also served on the Dudley Finance, Appropriation, and Advisory Committee, the Capital Improvement Committee, and the Executive Board of the South Worcester County Communications Center.
Rep. Marsi has always run positive, issues-based campaigns. He believes that all politics is local and makes sure every call or email gets returned in a timely manner. Talking with — and more importantly listening to — his constituents is the most important part of the role.
